Melanie Alvarez, born July 18, 1978, passed away on March 15, 2026, in Douglas, Arizona.

Melanie was a beautiful soul whose kindness, love, and generosity knew no bounds. She truly loved life and lived it with an open heart. She was the kind of person who would help anyone in need without hesitation, always putting others before herself. Her warmth and compassion made everyone around her feel seen, comforted, and cared for.

Her greatest love in life was her family,God and Pepsi. .

She is survived by her loving sister, Selina Alvarez; her cherished children, Christopher Alvarez, Ashley Alvarez, and Maya Alvarez; her five precious grandchildren; her nephews, Ignacio Alvarez and Mateo Abitia; and her niece, Yamiley Abitia.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Arturo Alvarez and Rosavelia Baltierrez, and her brother, Arturo Alvarez Jr.

Melanie's love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten. Her memory will continue to shine through the lives she touched and the family she adored.

The family will be holding a private service to honor and celebrate Melanie's life.
