Maria Elena
Hirales
Mar 14, 1945 — Jun 15, 2026
It is with profound sadness and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Maria Elena "Ama" Hirales, who entered eternal rest on June 15, 2026 at the age of 81.
Born on March 14, 1945 in Naco, Son, Ama was a woman of unwavering faith, strength, and compassion. She dedicated her life to her familia, always placing the needs of her children, grandchildren, and loved ones before her own. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, delicious meals, and unconditional love that welcomed all.
Ama was known for her generous heart, her wisdom, and her ability to bring people together. She taught her family the importance of faith, hard work, respect, and kindness. Her love for her culture and traditions enriched the lives of everyone around her and created cherished memories that will be carried on for generations.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Phillip Hirales; children, Ralph (Maribel) & Phil (Cessy); her grandchildren, Jazlynn, Keona, Noah, Antonio, Mateo & Micah; and many nieces, nephews, siblings, relatives, and friends who were blessed to know and love her.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, faith, and devotion will continue to live on through her family.
Rosary and funeral services will be held on June 26, 2026 at St Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bisbee, AZ starting at 9:00 a.m. Burial services will be held at Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery located in Sierra Vista. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
"Madre querida, tu amor fue nuestro mayor regalo. Descansa en paz y vive para siempre en nuestros corazones. Tus abrazos, amor y consejos se quedaran con nosotros para siempre. "
("Beloved mother, your love was our greatest gift. Rest in peace and live forever in our hearts. Your hugs, love and advice will stay with us forever")
Forever loved, forever remembered.
