Leslie (Annette) Walton

December 22, 1959 — January 14, 2024

Leslie (Annette) Walton, age 64, passed away on Sunday January 14, 2024 near her hometown of Bisbee, Arizona. She was born December 22, 1959 in Bisbee to Lester Ray Petty and Mildred Louise Petty. She married Malcolm Alroy Walton on December 21, 1989 in Bisbee surrounded by family and friends. She owned a restaurant in the heart of downtown Bisbee known as “Our Place” for 22 years.

Annette, known by most as “Grandma”, spent many of her days serving others through her good food and uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Whether through her daily serving at the restaurant, daily drives around the neighborhood to speak to friends, or her frequent trips to the Warren convenience store for her daily scratch tickets, she touched so many lives with her ability to provide comfort and spread love in her own way. Annette truly lived life to the fullest through the simplest of pleasures.

She is survived by her husband Malcolm of 35 years; mother Mildred; her daughters, Denise (Jason) and Julie (Joshua), and son, Corey (Elisabeth); her grandchildren Savannah (Aric), Madison, Jayce, Lola, Tyson, Julian, Emma, Alexander, Benjamin, Caden, Aiden, Nolan, Dawson, and Helen; her three sisters, Donna (Bobby), Jackie (Richard), and Loretta (Marvin); and many great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Lester Petty (father), and Daniel Walton (son).
