Eddie Hurtado

Eddie's life was defined by his service. As a retired Army veteran and Customs agent, he carried himself with a kind approach, a respectful manner, and a deep pride in his work. His dedication to his country and community was unwavering, and he always held his career in the highest regard.Eddie is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Norma, their two children, Samuel and Nereyda, and his three grandchildren Sammy, Serena and Santiago. To his family, he was so much more than a husband and father - he was the heart of their home. Kind, generous, and full of compassion for all. Eddie's gentle spirit touched everyone who knew him. He was a remarkable husband, an incredible father, and a proud, adoring grandfather.His children and grandchildren were the joy of his life, and his legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on in their hearts forever.

Services will be held on Saturday, July 26th at St.Lukes Catholic Church In Douglas Arizona.

Rosary 10:30AM

Mass 11:00AM

Burial following the mass at Calvary Memorial Cemetery. Followed by a celebration of life at the American Legion.

La vida de Eddie estuvo definida por su vocación de servicio. Como veterano retirado del Ejército y agente de Aduanas, siempre se condujo con amabilidad, respeto y un profundo orgullo por su trabajo. Su dedicación a su país y a su comunidad fue inquebrantable, y siempre tuvo en la más alta estima su carrera profesional.

Fue un esposo extraordinario, un padre ejemplar y un abuelo amoroso y orgulloso.Sus hijos y nietos fueron la alegría de su vida, y su legado de amor, fortaleza y compasión vivirá para siempre en sus corazones.Los servicios se llevarán a cabo el 26 de julio en la Iglesia Católica de San Lucas en Douglas, Arizona.
Rosario: 10:30 a. m.
Misa: 11:00 a. m.
El entierro se realizará después de la misa en el Cementerio Memorial del Calvario.
Posteriormente, se celebrará una celebración de vida en la Legión Americana.
