Doris Ann Curfman

Doris Ann Curfman, age 74, of Douglas, Arizona, went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20,
2025.
She was born on September 28, 1950, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, to Wayne and Doris Jean
England. Doris had a long and dedicated 30-year career with the State of Colorado Motor
Vehicle Division. She was a proud military wife to Ralph Curfman, and after both retired in
1998, they relocated to Douglas, Arizona.
In Douglas, Doris served as a librarian at Loretto Catholic School for seven years and was an
active member of St. Luke's Catholic Church, where she faithfully served as a Lector. Her love
for learning, service, and faith defined much of her life.
Doris is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph Curfman; her daughter, Leslie Wolfe; her sister,
Betsy Kelley of Sheridan, Wyoming; her stepchildren, Michelle Young (Ken), Angela Lucero
(Ronnie), and Kevin Curfman (Kristan); and her cherished grandchildren, Steven, Morgan, Gabe,
Austin, and Marcus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Doris Jean England.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Luke's
Catholic Church in Douglas, Arizona. A reception will follow at the Douglas Golf Course
Country Club.
Burial services will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Olathe Cemetery
in Olathe, Colorado.
Doris will be remembered for her kindness, her strong faith, and the love she gave so freely to
her family and friends.
