Carmen Andrade

June 17, 1924 — July 11, 2022

On July 11, 2022 we lost a most beautiful soul, our beloved mother. Carmen Andrade, she passed away peacefully surrounded by all her children, and family. She was born in Bisbee, AZ on June 17, 1924. She had just celebrated her 98th birthday, and lived in Bisbee most of her life. Aside from being a Homemaker, she worked many years in what was then, El Zarape Restaurant, on Main St.  She had many customers who would ask for her, personally, to cook their meals. She then went on to live with her daughter, Angelina Godina, in California for many years. She returned to Arizona to live the remainder of her life in Tucson, Arizona. Our mother was the most caring, giving, strong, hard-working, selfless woman. She helped raised most of her grandchildren, and loved everyone in her family unconditionally. She taught us to forgive, and to help others, be faithful to God, and so much more. Carmen Andrade is survived by six of her children, Angelina Godina, Enrique Andrade, Jr., Antonio Andrade, Carmen Miller, Mike Andrade, Ana Lydia Carbajal.  She is also survived by three generations of over 80 grandchildren, and cousins, nieces, nephews, other extended family members, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Miguel Burgos, Bernarda Rocha Burgos, her husband Enrique Andrade, Sr., and their son, Arturo Andrade, She is also preceded in death by her siblings:  Enrique Rocha, Maria Burgos, Angelina Moreno, Miguel Burgos, Baby Manuel who died at 5 years old, Manuel Burgos, Francisco (Pancho) Burgos, and Robert Burgos.

She will forever be missed and never forgotten.
