Bertha Willhite

December 8, 1929 — November 18, 2025

Our world lost a treasure on November 18th, 2025 when our mother Bertha Mae Willhite entered into God's rest. She filled our lives with love, laughter, and her caring gentle spirit.

Bertha was born in Carter, Oklahoma on December 8, 1929, and spent the majority of her life in Bisbee, Arizona, where she raised her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Delford Monroe Willhite. She is survived by four sons Orlan (Reta), Danny, Steve (Ardella), Michael (Amy), and two daughters Gayle (Denny), Deborah (Doug), and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and one sister Ima Jean Allmon. She was a dedicated member of the Bisbee First Assembly of God church. Her life reflected the love of Jesus.

Her Sunday dinners were a cherished tradition, and her cinnamon rolls were famous throughout Cochise County and beyond. Mom's kitchen table was open to family, friends, and those in need. Our mother knew no stranger and everyone was welcome at her table.

She loved nothing more than spending time with her family, which was her greatest joy. We find comfort knowing she is with her savior and her spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025 at 2:30pm at Bisbee First Assembly of God church, 40 Old Douglas Rd., Bisbee, Arizona. Viewing at 2pm. Those who wish to honor her memory can make a donation to their favorite charity.

Pallbearers Gary Schasteen, Michael Willhite, Marty Willhite, Eric Lazovich, Aaron Willhite, and Todd Willhite.
