Albert Lopez

Albert Lopez was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 4, 1970. He passed away on April 5, 2023 in Bisbee, AZ.

Albert was a loving son, father, husband, godfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Albert is remembered by his kind heart and generous spirit. He was a loyal person that conquered the trust of all those that surrounded him. He was a jack of all trades. There was no task or problem that Albert could not solve. From mechanics, electricity, electronics, plumbing, etc; you named it, Albert fixed it.   

Albert grew up in Los Angeles, his family moved around a lot during his young adult years. Ultimately Albert and his father, Al Sr. settled down in West Covina, CA. Albert graduated from Sierra Vista High School in 1988. He joined the US Marine Corps in 1989, where he served for 3 years. Stationed in El Toro, CA he spent his time working as an Aircraft Mechanic.

Albert was married to Maria Servin in 1989. They spent 25 years together and had two beautiful children, Destiny and Xavier. Though the marriage was not permanent, they remained close friends.

Albert held many positions of great responsibility during his journey on this earth. He worked for West Coast Maintenance and Desser Tire Co. in the field of Aviation. Albert spent time living in Memphis, Tennessee before he settled down in Bisbee, AZ. He worked for the Bisbee Unified School District where he was loved and cared for by all staff, not to mention all the children and young adults that surrounded him everyday.

Albert was a big Raider and Star Wars. Music played a big part in his life, from break dancing to DJing, music was always with him. He was always a jokester, his smile and laughter brought joy to everyone he knew. He truly had a heart of gold and love his family & friends deeply.

Albert is survived by his Daughter, Destiny and Son, Xavier Lopez; his former wife Maria, siblings, Albert Lopez Jr., Debbie Velky, David Galaz, Maria Buelna, Rebecca Grant, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother and father, Rosa Dorame and Albert Lopez Sr. and Grandparents, Manuel and Teresa Dorame and Florence Lopez and Maria Luisa Trujillo.
