Blixa Douglas Pardee- Spreemann
Blixa Douglas Pardee-Spreemann was born on August 30, 1999 in Tucson Az to Colleen Kaye Pardee and Kenneth Paul Spreemann Jr. He passed away on Sunday July 19, 2020.
He was home schooled through his elementary and middle school years, and then attended Bisbee High School. In his short 20 years on this earth he brought joy to his family and all who knew him. He had a wry sense of humor and always enjoyed a good laugh. He had a curious mind and a depth of perception that often lead him to arrive at unique conclusions about life. He found it easy to have thoughtful conversations with young and old alike about most any topic. He had a caring soul and was concerned with the environment and the natural world.
He would pick up trash as he walked down the street. He ushered out flies from the house rather than kill them, and he loved his cat Nala and his leopard gecko Darwin. He was a skilled artist and drew beautiful images of dragons and mythical creatures. His creative efforts also lead him to venture into writing. He was working on a surreal science fiction novel, and he wrote with a sophistication and style that exceeded his years. He loved music. He would sing loudly and with great gusto in church, all the while conducting from his seat in the back of the pews without a care.
Early on he preferred classical music and later developed an obsession with metal music. His love of Norwegian metal music in particular lead him to dream that one day he would travel to Norway.
Blixa was named after the German musician, Blixa Bargeld. He was loved by all and is survived by his parents Colleen Pardee, Kenneth Spreemann (Ernestine), his grandmother Betty Coble, Uncles Douglas Pardee(Anna), Brian Pardee( Linda), Aunts Gale Spreemann-Gauf(Lothar), Kay Campbell(Larry), Jeanette Spreemann(Dean), Irene Reed(Doug), nieces and nephews, and many cousins and extended family.
