Juan Manuel Molina, 88, of Divisaderos, Sonora., Mexico, died peacefully in his sleep Friday, July 21, 2017 at his home in Pirtleville, AZ.


Juan Manuel was born in Divisaderos, Sonora., Mexico to Francisco Molina and Maria Jesus Espinosa on January 27, 1929. He went to school in Nacozari, Mexico. His dream was to one day be a pilot and had an admiration for airplanes throughout his life. He married Maria Otila Molina in 1947 in Agua Prieta, Sonora. He worked as a Mechanic, Adobe Maker, Agriculture, Construction and was an active pastor for many years at Iglesia Apostólica

De La Fe En Cristo Jesús in Agua Prieta, Sonora.As a mechanic, he owned and operated Taller Molina in Agua Prieta, Sonora for 20 years. He was a very hard worker and worked all of his life. His advice to his children and grandchildren was always "If you don’t work, you won't do anything" ("Si No trabajen no van aser nada").


Juan Manuel Molina is preceded in death by his wife Maria Otila Molina, brother Albino Molina and sister Felicita Maldonado and grandchild Jose Luis Garcia.


Juan is survived by son, Jose Pedro Molina (Antonia); daughter, Maria Jesus Garcia (Jose Luis Garcia);

brothers Raul Loretto, Gilberto Garcia; sister, Idolina Cornejo; grandchildren, Ricardo Molina, Karen Molina,

Jose Irriam Molina, Lorenzo Antonio Molina, Juan Pedro Molina, Gloria Ball (George), Juan Garcia (Gina), Estella Garcia; 7 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.


A viewing will be held on Friday, July 27, 2017 at the Assembly of God Church, 1400 13th Street at 6:00 pm with Pastor Pete Cordova officiating. Burial will follow Saturday, July 28, 2017 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pirtleviille, AZ. The family will greet friends from 12:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 28, 2017 at the Douglas Visitor Center 345 16th Street in Douglas, Arizona.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Alex Espinosa Funeral Home.


Pallbearers will be Jaime Garcia, Juan Manual Garcia, George Ball, Mario Quijada, and Gabriel Lugo.

Honorary Pallbearers are Ricardo Molina, Lorenzo Molina, Jose Molina, Juan Pedro Molina, Giulio Morales, and Geoffrey Ball.
